Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

PostOnly is a Mac and iOS app made by Aspect Services, LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using PostOnly, you agree to these terms.

The service

PostOnly is a posting client: it sends content you compose to third-party networks you connect — including Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Micro.blog, and Total CMS sites. The service includes a small server component (a sign-in relay, temporary image hosting, purchase verification, and a posting proxy for X), described in the privacy policy.

Your content and accounts

Your content is yours. By posting through PostOnly you direct us to transmit that content to the networks you selected, and you're responsible for it — including complying with each destination network's own terms, rules, and content policies. You're also responsible for keeping your device and connected accounts secure.

Purchases and subscriptions

PostOnly's core features are free. Two optional purchases are offered through Apple's App Store, at the prices shown in the app at the time of purchase:

Multiple Accounts — a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited accounts on every network except X. Without it, PostOnly is free for unlimited Total CMS feeds plus any one other connected account (X always requires the X Posting subscription below). It is not a subscription and does not renew.

X Posting — a monthly auto-renewing subscription that covers the cost of X's paid API. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple; you can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Fair use

X posting is subject to a monthly fair-use allowance that keeps the subscription sustainable against X's per-use API pricing. The app shows your remaining allowance. We may throttle or suspend relay, hosting, or proxy access that we reasonably believe is abusive, automated beyond the app's intended use, or unlawful.

Acceptable use

Don't use PostOnly to send spam, violate law, infringe others' rights, or breach the terms of the networks you post to. Networks may suspend accounts that violate their rules — that's between you and them.

Third-party networks

PostOnly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the networks it posts to. Networks change and break their APIs; features that depend on a third-party service can degrade or stop working if that service changes, and we may add or remove supported networks over time.

Warranty disclaimer

PostOnly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any post will be delivered, displayed, or retained by a destination network, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aspect Services, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of PostOnly. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the App Store in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using PostOnly at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the server components for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (content responsibility, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Continuing to use PostOnly after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Aspect Services, LLC against losses, damages, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your breach of these terms, including any claim that content you posted through PostOnly violated a third party's rights or a destination network's terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, and any disputes relating to them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so parts of the sections above may not apply to you.
